LEGAL NOTICE Case No.: 2026 DR 71 To: DEFENDANT, JOSHUA HOWARD whose last known address was 620 Fletcher Pike, South Charleston, Ohio 45368 and whose current place of residence is unknown and cannot with reasonable diligence be ascertained, will please take notice that Plaintiff Courtney Howard has filed a Complaint for Divorce against you on April 8, 2026, in the Champaign County Court of Common Pleas, Domestic Relations Division, 200 North Main Street, Third Floor, Urbana, Ohio 43078. The Complaint for Divorce states that Plaintiff Courtney Howard has been a bona fide resident of Ohio for at least six months and of Champaign County, Ohio, for at least 90 days immediately before the filing of the Complaint and that you were married on or about August 21, 2018, and no children were born from or adopted during the marriage or relationship. The Complaint further states that you and the Plaintiff are incompatible and that you have lived separate and apart for more than one (1) year. The Complaint requests a divorce from Defendant, that the marital property and marital debts be divided between Plaintiff and Defendant in an equitable manner, that a temporary restraining order be issued, that costs be assessed to Defendant, and that Plaintiff be granted such other relief as the court deems just. YOU ARE ORDERED TO FILE AN ANSWER with the court within three (3) days of serving a copy of it upon Plaintiff. The answer is required to be served within twenty-eight (28) days of the last day of publication. If you do not file an answer with the court within 28 days of the last date of publication, a judgment may be granted to the Plaintiff for the relief demanded, which includes a divorce from Defendant.
