LEGAL NOTICE CITY OF URBANA Due to a lack of business needing addressed, the Urbana City Council meeting for June 24th, 2025 has been cancelled. The following legislation was recently passed by the Urbana City Council. Copies and complete text are available at the Clerk of Council Office, 205 S. Main Street, Urbana, OH 43078 Ordinance 4429-25 : A resolution adopting the tax budget of the City of Urbana, Ohio, for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2026; submitting the same to the County Auditor. Passed 6/3/2025, 7-0. Resolution 2714-25 : A resolution to authorize the Director of Administration to execute an economic development transfer form (TREX) from the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Liquor Control on behalf of Urbana Food & Gas, Inc. for their new convenience store/gas station at 1325 North Main Street, and declaring an emergency. Passed 6/3/2025, 7-0. Resolution 2715-25 : A resolution to authorize the Director of Administration of the City of Urbana to prepare and submit an application for the Phase 3 Water Replacement Project in the Grimes Neighborhood (Subdivision Area) and to participate in the Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) State Capital Improvement Grant and Loan Programs; to authorize the Mayor to execute contracts as required; to authorize the Director of Finance to commit and appropriate local match funding for this project; and to further authorize the Director of Finance to make the necessary assurances for this loan as required.
