Notice of Election on Tax Levy in Excess of the Ten Mill Limitation R.C. 3501.11(G), 5705.19, 5705.25 Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Council of the Village of Christiansburg, Jackson Township, Champaign County, Ohio, passed on the 29th day of January, 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the Primary Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 5th day of May, 2026, the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, which shall be an additional tax for the benefit of the Village of Christiansburg for the purpose of providing and maintaining police services and public safety at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts t o $53 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 3 years. The estimated annual collections of this levy is $17,000. The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on election day.
